# Laboratory for Public Policy and the Internet #

The Laboratory of Public Policy and Internet (LAPIN) is a pioneer nonprofit think tank dedicated to digital policy based in the Brazilian capital of Bras�lia. Researchers, lawyers, engineers and representatives from both the public and the private sectors contribute to LAPIN's goal of analyzing and supporting the development of public policies focused on the regulation of digital technologies. Our work is, on one hand, to investigate, analyze and understand the impacts of the internet and new technologies on society and law, and on the other hand, to propose, inform and act with public decision makers, supporting them technically in the demands that involve digital themes.
